HSE Approved First Aid at Work Training for the Construction Industry
First Aid at Work training designed to meet the specific needs and dangers of the construction industry. All training is approved by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) for funding purposes. Training can be conducted on site if suitable facilities are available, in many cases the induction room is used. The syllabus includes:

Students are independantly examined on the final afternoon of the course. Upon successful completion certification is valid for three years.

Emergency First Aid for Appointed Persons
This Emergency First Aid Course has been adapted to suit the particular needs of the construction industry and is run in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations. The one day course includes both theory and practical sessions within a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence. The course is fully approved by the CITB for funding purposes.

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no formal final examination. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for a period of three years.
