We are able to offer a full Appointed Person course. This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience and is ideal for people requiring Appointed Person status, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations. The course is run over four hours and includes both theory and practical sessions within a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence.

The syllabus includes:

- First Aid Priorities
- Unconsciousness
- Examining a Casualty
- Regulations
- Burns and Scalds
- Basic Life Support
- First Aid Kits
- Control of Bleeding
- Managing Incidents
- Recording & Reporting

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no formal final examination. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for a period of three years.

Cost
The cost of this course for up to 14 candidates is £325 + VAT when run at your venue. This includes certification and a manual for each student. There are no additional costs.
