CIEH Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness Training

Fire annually kills 700 people in the United Kingdom and costs approximately £1,500 million in insurance claims from industry.

This course teaches basic fire safety awareness as it applies to the workplace. Courses can be tailored to suit a specific audience and typically run for 3 hours.

Subjects covered include:-

- Causes of workplace fires
- Fire safety precautions
- Reducing the risks
- Fire fighting procedures
- Fire extinguisher recognition and use theory
- Practical use of fire extinguishers – dependant on a suitable area
- Fire action planning

The cost of this course is £375 + VAT alternatively two courses can be run on the same day for £550 + VAT. This covers instruction for groups of up to 14 students at a time. It includes a comprehensive manual for each student.

If your delegates require CIEH certification there is a £12 + VAT certification fee for each student, this can be achieved by successful completion
of multi choice examination paper.

Alternatively if CIEH certification isn’t required we can certificate this training
at no extra cost.
