Manual Handling Instructors Course
The course is made up of the following units:
Unit 1 - Ergonomics
Unit 2 - The law relating to moving & handling
Unit 3 - Risk assessment in relation to moving & handling
Unit 4 - The duty of care
Unit 5 - Anatomy & Physiology of the back
Unit 6 - Essential considerations relating to manual handling
Unit 7 - Practical skills
Assessment
During the course learners will be assessed by means of a practical assignment, a micro-teach and a fifty multiple-choice question paper.
Costs
The cost per delegate attending an “open” course is £325 + VAT. This covers certification, manuals, a full training pack and tea/coffee.
The cost of for an “in-house” course is £2250 + VAT for up to 10 students when run at your venue. Additional students are charged at £250 + VAT each. This includes certification and manuals for each student, and a training pack for the company.
