OCN Credit4learning Level 3 Managing Medication Trainer
The syllabus includes:
- What is meant by the term “licensed medication”
- The legislation relating to medication and the application of it
- The routes of administration and the theory of how to safely administer medication via the most frequently used routes
- The importance and legal requirements of documentation in relation to medication
- Understand what is meant by ‘consent’ and how medication can be abused
- The signs and symptoms of an allergic reaction and the actions to take
- Preparing and delivering a training session
- Reflecting on your own practise
The cost of this course when attending an “open” course is £350.00 + VAT per person. This covers certification, manuals and tea/coffee.
Please note that it does not include any meals or accommodation.
Assessment
• A 20 minute micro teach
• 3 written assignments
Alternatively it can be run at your premises on dates to suit you for groups of up to ten at a cost of £2250.00 + vat.
On completion of the course instructors will be able to run courses that they can certificate on their own or alternatively we can provide an OCN Credit4learning accredited certificate for each candidate at a cost of £20 + vat.
