Paediatric First Aid Instructors Course

This course is designed to enable the successful candidate to train Paediatric First Aid courses both the one-day and two-day in accordance with the latest Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS) and Ofsted guidelines.

The course is run over three days and covers two essential areas:

- Two days of in-depth first aid knowledge-designed to give students the extra knowledge to enable them to train paediatric first aid effectively
- One day of teaching and training practice. Students will deliver one training session each this will be assessed, and feedback given to the potential instructor, by a senior member of Aid Training.

Please Note

This course does not qualify people to train First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid – if you wish to train these courses you should attend the First Aid and AED Instructors course.

Students coming on this course should have completed a paediatric first aid course beforehand to give themselves some background information.

How Much Does it Cost?
The cost of this course when attending an “open” course is £295 + VAT per student. This covers certification, manuals and tea/coffee. Please note that it does not include any meals or accommodation. In addition all students will receive a Paediatric First Aid Instructors disk that includes all that is needed to train both the one and two day courses.
