My apologies for taking to long to write following the “First Responders’” course last week.
What an excellent course and thank you so much for the opportunity. Rob’s instruction was quite outstanding, clear, relevant, direct and with a magnificent sense of humour, the brand of which I know only too well. Of particular note was the day out “on the ground”, challenging, fun and a great opportunity to put into practise all that had been taught so well in the classroom.

Tactical Medicine including FPOS
The training includes both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, designed to develop a good, all round Tactical First Responder.
The instructors are all ex Special Forces Medics and civilian paramedics; all have recent operational experience.
There are no prerequisites for this course – anybody with a desire to learn the skills is welcome to attend.
The syllabus includes:
FPOS Intermediate and First Aid at Work – Scene Safety, Airway Management, Oxygen Therapy, Spinal Immobilisation, Defibrillation, Trauma and Medical Emergencies
Extended Skills – Cannulation, Fluid Therapy, Advanced Trauma – Chest, Abdominal, Head and Extremity (including Tourniquets and Quick Clot)
Cost
The cost for individual places on our regular “open” courses is £495 + VAT for all five days. This includes manuals, certification, tea/coffee and lunch.
