Medical Emergencies Training for Schools

This one-day course is aimed at all school staff who may have to deal with a member of staff, pupil, or visitor suffering from a medical emergency. It includes an element of theoretical training backed up by practical exercises. The course is run by health care professionals and is certificated for one year. A comprehensive manual is included for all participants.

The Medical Emergencies Syllabus Includes:

	Medical conditions policies and procedures
	Signs/symptoms and management and treatment of
		Anaphylaxis
		Diabetes
		Asthma
		Epilepsy
		Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
	Resuscitation-adult and child
	Aftercare

This syllabus is an example of what could be included-we will work with the school concerned to structure the course to their specific needs.
