All the staff at Aid Training & Operations Ltd are selected because of their unique blend of operational and training experience. You can rest assured that if they are delivering your training it will be based on “real life” experience and made fun, relevant and interesting.
Paul Hosking
Paul spent sixteen years in the Royal Marines before leaving in 1999 and setting up Aid Training. |
Paula Farrell
Paula joined us in 2002 after a successful career in retail management. She has a special responsibility for all sales and client related issues. |
Hamish Finley
Hamish is an ex-Royal Marine. He takes the lead on our Conflict Management and security courses. |
Neill Files
Neill spent eleven years in the Army before moving into management with several national blue-chip companies. Now our Training Manager he has a special interest in health & safety and management training. |
Lauren Taylor
Lauren joined us in 2005 She is now the Office Manager and the first point of contact in most cases.

Debi Bell
Debi is a former Reuters journalist, she now heads up our in-house DVD training film department. |
Ria Surridge
Ria is a Registered General Nurse now specialising in Occupational Health. She is a lead tutor for the full range of our first aid courses.

Heather Robinson
Heather joined us in 2007, her main task is looking after and administering all the instructor courses.

Ian Buckley
Ian has a catering and teacher education background. He is currently heavily involved in tutoring, first aid, food safety and our range of instructor courses. |
Jac Evans
Jac is our training development coordinator and also looks after our ‘open’courses in London & Warminster.

Suzanne Agate
Suzanne maintains our training database and is responsible for all post training administration as well as being the first voice you may hear when you telephone the office.

Ryan Knight
Ryan spent seven years in the Royal Army Medical Corps as a Combat Medical Technician. He was discharged in 2008 after being badly injured in Afghanistan. He now brings his wealth of operational experience into the delivery of our medical courses. |
Rob Turner
Rob spent 29 years in the Royal Marines and is a highly qualified and experienced instructor. He now trains our full range of our City and Guilds instructor qualifications. |
Trev Hazzell
Trev served for 24 years in the Royal Army Medical Corps. He is now a senior first aid trainer for Aid Training. |
Pete Dahle
Pete spent eleven years in the Royal Marines before leaving to join the fire service. He is still an operational fire-fighter and part-time trainer for Aid Training. |
Terry Lee
Terry has worked in both the NHS and Private sector of the Ambulance Service as a Technician, and teaches all of our first aid courses |
Frederic Le Ouedec ( Freddy)
Freddy is French and has been a whole-time firefighter for 15 years in Bristol. Prior to coming to the UK he served in the
French military. He is also a first responder for Great Western Ambulance Service

James Collier
James has been an operational fire-fighter for 14 years and part-time trainer for Aid Training for the last two years.

Pat Queen
Pat has been a paramedic for 19 years in London and Sussex. He currently trains the full range of first aid courses. |
Tracy Hawkins
Coming from a financial and customer service background Tracy is your first point of contact for any invoicing or accounts needs.

Pauline Brown
Pauline spent a number of years in the NHS as an Ambulance Technician she now works as a lead trainer for Aid Training.

Geeta Farrow
Is a Registered General Nurse with an A & E background. She is a tutor and assessor for the full range of our first aid courses.

Teresa Thorpe
Teresa is an experienced Health Care Assistant and trainer/assessor for Aid Training.

Graham Freeman
Graham comes from an army and private security industry background. He is the lead trainer for our City and Guilds qualifications. In addition he is fully qualified to tutor first aid courses.

Rob Tomkinson
Rob is a State Registered Paramedic and lead first aid tutor. |
Nick Bird
Nick is an operational fire-fighter with five years frontline experience and part-time trainer for Aid Training.

Jason Bethell
Jason spent a number of years in the Army before leaving to join the fire service. He is still an operational fire-fighter and part-time trainer for Aid Training.

John Griffiths
John served as an Officer in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary for six years before leaving to join the fire service. He is still an operational fire-fighter and part-time trainer for Aid Training.

Dom Manton
Dom is an operational fire-fighter and part-time trainer for Aid Training.

Steve Lynch
Steve spent 25 years in the fire service, both civil and military. He has a special responsibility for all fire related training and consultancy.

Pete Leatherbarrow
Pete spent six years in the RAF. He is now a frontline paramedic with seven years experience.

Andy Bevin
Andy is an experienced First Responder and a Medic for an event medical cover company working in London. |
