For those who wish to train Basic & Fire Marshal Courses.
Course outline
- In-depth fire knowledge-designed to give students the extra knowledge to enable them to train effectively
- Teaching and training practice
Students will receive training and advice in delivering fire courses. Students will also deliver a minimum of one practical and one theory session each during the course. This will be assessed and feedback given to the potential instructor by a senior member of Aid Training.
Upon successful completion students will be qualified to train their staff in the following subjects:
- Causes of workplace fires
- The fire triangle
- Action in the event of fire
- Fire fighting
- Fire extinguishers
- Practical fire extinguishing
- The fire action plan
- The role and duties of the Fire Marshal
- An overview of fire risk assessment
- An overview of fire warning system
Due to the nature of the course it is recommended, but not essential, that students attending have a:
- Training qualification and/or experience
- Background in health and safety

Assessment & certification
Students will receive training and advice in delivering fire courses. Students will also deliver a minimum of one practical and one theory session each during the course. This will be assessed and feedback given to the potential instructor by a senior member of Aid Training. Certification is OCN.
Pricing & booking
The cost of this course when run at your venue is £1750.00 + vat for up to 10 students. Additional students are charged £250.00 + vat per person. This includes certification and manuals for each student.
