Emergency First Aid at Work Course Feedback

Hi Julia We would like to thank you for the First Aid at Work course that Haydn did for us today, all of our staff commented that how well he came across and how much they had learned after having previous training providers that did not deliver. We will be using yourselves again in the near future and will be highly recommending you in our area. Many Thanks ...

FPOSi Course Feedback

I am mailing to let all know that the Fposi course I have just finished at the Holiday Inn in London last week was absolutely first class.  Chris Mahon was so professional in his instruction and the information that he passed onto all was easily understood due to his methods and demonstrations.......I wish to personally thank him for making things easy for me, and I think I can say for all the students on the course. He is a great asset to you and I will most cer...

Chris Mahon Strikes Again!

Dear Aid Training folks,  I'm not sure if you are interested in former students experiences using their training, but just in case you are.... I'm currently on Madeira, where an elderly chap took a tumble on a mountain side and ended up with bumps and bruises and a 15cm, to the bone, laeration to a shin, (it is all hard volcanic rock here). Of course I had a small kit with me and patched him up for transfer to hospital. I think it is a credit to Chris, who was my instructor, that when...

One Very Happy School!

Just wanted to give you some feedback on the recent training our staff received.  Everyone found the course to be practical and relevant.  The attendees have all sought me out to express their thoughts on the training and everyone said it was worthwhile and the trainer was absolutely brilliant!  They all said that he was the best trainer they had ever had.  This is praise indeed from people that had to have their arm twisted to attend the course in the first place. ...

Great Feedback

I just wanted to say, on behalf of the staff here at Hayesdown, how much they enjoyed the course yesterday in Frome. They all said how professional the trainer was and how informative the course was in comparison to other First Aid courses held in the past with other companies. Thank you again. ...

Asthma patients 'missing out on basic care'

Millions of asthma patients in the UK are not getting basic care they need to manage their condition, a charity says. Asthma UK, which questioned more than 4,500 patients, said two-thirds miss out on yearly check-ups, tailored advice and lessons in how to use their asthma inhalers. It says it is a slight improvement on a year ago but remains a bleak picture. In 2015 in the UK, 1,468 people died from an asthma attack - the highest level in a decade. The latest annual asthma care surve...

Staying Safe on Bonfire Night

Although great fun can be had by all on Bonfire Night, it’s one of the busiest times of the year for the emergency services. If you’ve not prepared in advance and don’t have the necessary precautions in place to prevent accidents and injuries on November 5th, you could find yourself facing a medical emergency.   However, if you are organising a bonfire event and do plan ahead, you can help all your guests to be careful and stay safe.     The basic bonfire prep...

What to Expect at First Aid Training

First aid training could be most important course you’ve ever taken. In the event of an emergency, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to deliver potentially life-saving assistance. Although many undertake training as part of a workplace requirement, these skills are invaluable in everyday situations and the course welcomes all individuals. There’s plenty of reasons to learn first aid but information online about the course and what can be expected is often hard to come by. As such...
